2026 Draxlr - R15

19 Oct, 2026

This release rebuilds the AI assistant with plain-language answers, clarifying questions, and a resizable result panel you can rewind. It also brings row-level security to single dashboard embeds, conditional and gradient cell coloring in tables and pivots, DMA boundaries in maps, timeslots in the Calendar widget, and variables inside table names. Chart styling gains per-element font sizes and per-series label and line controls, and dashboard exports drop their branding for embedded use.

Features

  • AI assistant rebuilt — the assistant answers in plain language from your query results, with the key figure in bold, and asks a clarifying question with suggested answers when a request is ambiguous. Results open in a resizable panel with Visualization, Result, and SQL tabs, and you can rewind a chat to an earlier step.
  • Row-level security in single dashboard embeds — row-level security groups now apply to single dashboard embeds, so each viewer sees only the rows their group permits.
  • Conditional and gradient cell coloring in tables and pivots — color table and pivot cells by value using a three-color scale with your own hex codes for the minimum, midpoint, and maximum, or set conditions that color one column based on another column's value.
  • DMA boundaries in maps — shade maps by US Designated Market Area instead of state, with DMAs matched by name and filled by metric value.
  • Timeslots in the Calendar widget — add a time dimension so each day shows its individual slots, with the first few slots in the monthly view and all of them in the weekly view.
  • Variables in table names — concatenate query variables into table names, so one query such as SELECT * FROM campaign_{{campaign_name}}_table can serve a separate table per client.
  • Computed card redesign — computed cards have a new layout with a trend sparkline alongside the value.

Improvements

  • Font size customization — set font sizes independently for axis labels, value labels, and chart titles.
  • Per-series label and line controls — turn value labels on or off per series or y-axis, and set the line type so a line renders separately from stacked bars.
  • Sortable AI results — sort by any column in the AI assistant's result table.
  • Redesigned table sidebar — table view settings are reorganized around the new cell color controls.
  • Organization brand color — set a brand color for the organization and have charts pick it up by default.
  • Recent colors — colors you pick are remembered across the organization and offered in every color picker.
  • Raw query editor — queries now show the tables they reference and how long they took to run.
  • Cleaner dashboard exports — PDF and Excel filenames now end with the export date, dashboard PDFs no longer carry the logo, and PDFs from an embed have no Draxlr branding.

Bug Fixes

  • Fix Venn diagram source colors not updating when changed in settings.
  • Fix Venn diagram labels not matching the sources they sit beside.
