2026 Draxlr - R13
24 Aug, 2026
This release introduces the Draxlr MCP Server for querying your data from AI assistants like Claude, Cursor, and ChatGPT, row-level security for granular per-user and per-group data access, and column preformatting for Excel exports. Embeds get a cleaner reset and export UI that folds into the filter bar, and you can now create a folder directly from the Save Query popup. Bug fixes cover dark mode, MSSQL summary rows, Live mode hints, and cursor behaviour.
Features
- Draxlr MCP Server — connect Draxlr to Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, and other AI assistants through the Model Context Protocol. The assistant runs read-only queries, finds and reruns your saved queries and dashboards, saves new queries, builds dashboards, and exports to CSV, Excel, or PDF, all within the access each person already has in Draxlr.
- Row-level security — control what each user or group can see with row-level security. Define user types (admin, full, read, custom), organise users into groups, and configure table, field, operator, and attribute rules so every viewer only sees the rows they are permitted to.
- Preformat Excel columns — exported Excel columns now carry preset formatting for cleaner, ready-to-use spreadsheets.
- Cleaner embed reset and export UI — when filters are visible, the reset and export controls now sit inside the same filter bar for a tidier embed toolbar.
Improvements
- Add a "New folder" option in the Save Query popup so you can create a folder without leaving the flow.
Bug Fixes
- Fix MSSQL summary row not working when the query contains an ORDER BY clause.
- Fix the "Create" query dropdown divider line not being visible in dark mode.
- Fix the "Allowed domain" field showing a hand cursor where nothing is clickable.
- Remove the "Create new query" and "Add element" hints from Live mode where they don't apply.
