2025 Draxlr - R8
04 Apr, 2025
Adds combo line-and-bar charts, improves how dashboards, embeds, and filters behave, and fixes issues with AI errors, exports, and saved-query visibility.
Features
- Add combo line and bar charts so you can mix multiple bar and line series in a single chart.
- Let dashboard filters read presets from a saved query, including switching between
INand=operators based on how many values are selected. - Redirect
/dashboard,/explore,/integrations, and/settingsto the last-used database so navigation feels consistent. - Add an option in dashboard table customization to convert numbers to dates using a simple formula.
- Add Dashboard Drill Through: clicking a table row can open another dashboard in a popup filtered on that row, with drill-down supported.
- Make API keys unique per API integration so each integration has its own credentials.
Improvements
- Improve the AI error display on "Generate SQL using Draxlr AI" so the message better matches the underlying response.
- Improve the builder experience so pages no longer get stuck loading after steps are added or removed.
- Make sure switching from raw saved queries to Explore shows a table view, matching production behavior.
- Ensure MSSQL exports and pagination return all rows, not just the first page.
- Show newly created saved queries promptly in the Explore saved-query list.
- Fix folder-creation messages so users do not see both success and "folder already exists" at the same time.
- Keep embed pages on the embed view rather than redirecting to login screens on errors.
Bug Fixes
- Fix an issue where AI SQL generation showed only a generic error despite a more detailed response.
- Fix raw-saved-query Explore behavior so it switches to table view instead of staying in raw mode.
- Fix MSSQL export and pagination so exports include all rows.
- Fix folder creation so duplicate-name errors and success states are consistent.
- Prevent embed views from redirecting to login when an error occurs.
