30 Jun, 2025

Making dashboards easier to manage and share, adding fine-grained refresh controls, 6-digit PIN protection for public views, better search and layout in tables and lists, AI-powered schema descriptions, and a set of stability fixes around drill-through and filters.

Features

  • Dashboard refresh controls — Allow owners to configure refresh behavior for individual dashboards for more predictable data updates.
  • PIN-protected public dashboards — Add an optional 6-digit PIN on public dashboard URLs so teams can safely share insights.
  • Table search within results — Add in-table search so users can quickly locate specific rows when working with large tables in Dashboards.
  • Dashboard list layout — Refine the dashboard list view to better handle long names and large sets of dashboards, improving scanability and readability.
  • Saved query editing — Add an edit option in the saved query list so users can quickly update names, descriptions, and folders without opening each query.
  • AI schema descriptions — Allow admins to define descriptions for tables and fields in Settings, making AI prompts more accurate and contextual when generating queries and charts.
  • Advanced graph coloring — Extend individual color support and time-formatting behavior on bar/line charts, unlocking more expressive multi-axis visualizations without sacrificing features.

Improvements

  • Dashboard list polish — Tighten spacing and typography in dashboard lists so long names and many dashboards remain easy to browse.

Bug Fixes

  • Drill-through to current dashboard in live mode — Prevent hidden filters when drilling to the current dashboard in live mode and ensure filters are cleared properly after refresh.
  • Add filter / compute card names — Fix the add-filter screen so compute card names are clearly displayed.
  • Drill-through hover state — Remove unwanted hover colors and icons on drill-through actions to keep interactions consistent and avoid misleading clickable cues.
